i bet you used to think they were the HOTTEST shit out there when you bought Teen Beat & Bop magazines just so you'll get those a4 sized posters you'll stick on your wall or file in school. and memorize their biography by heart. scream when ever their videos would come on tv or their hit singles being played on radio. you bought the cassettes and folded and unfolded the leaflet inside so that you can sing along to the songs until that little booklet has all the white fold-lines. you and your group of friends start pairing up with each members of the boy band. and make fun of the other who gets the "ugly" boy of the group.
i know i did those things.
